Why Medicine? Zoom Panel

The group will talk about why they chose medicine and their individual paths and you will all have time to ask your own questions and get to know them. Check our Instagram for the bios of Shelby Pane (MD), Ian Brown (MD), Jordan Burgess (MS2), and Joanna Langner (MS1).

Unique Paths to Medical School

Can I get into medical school with a lower GPA? How can I get more degrees along with MD? How do I overcome first-round rejection and still become a doctor?

If any of these questions strike you, MARK YOUR CALENDARS for Thursday, December 17th at 6 pm PST for an awesome event!

We have four amazing panelists (med students, residents, and physicians) so far who have all had unique journeys to medicine to speak with us about how no path (especially when you're an athlete) is considered "traditional".

This event will be a super amazing opportunity for networking, as a large portion of the event you will be able to move around in breakout rooms to the different panelist's rooms for informal chatting and question time.

The panelists: Dr. Elizabeth Burgener, Dr. Oswaldo Grenardo, and Michelle Xiao (MS1)
